I must be on a roll or something..LOL Actually I am really trying to post more often.
I just did a class using the Scor-Pal. You have to love that tool. It is so awesome. I have done several classes but had some card ideas with folding the cards (not really decorating) with the Scor-Pal. Anyway I thought I would share one of the cards today. What I really love about this card is the colors and that it is a masculine card.
I have added the directions to the card below. I hope you can make sense of them with no pictures to go by.
Masculine Golf Card
1 pc. Cardstock 4 ¼” x 11”
1 pc. Coordinating cardstock cut:
1 pc. ¾” x 4”
1 pc. 2 ½” x 2 ½”
1 pc. Coordinating Printed paper 2” x 4”
1 pc. Light colored cardstock 2 ¼” x 2 ¼”
2 large eyelets
Crop a Dile tool
Stamp sets of your choice
(I used FORE T1130 & Ordinary Greetings T2881)
Scor-Pal or bone folder and mat
Adhesive
Lay the 4 ¼” x 11” piece of cardstock across the scor-pal with the long side across the top. Score at 1”, 3 ¼” and 5 ½”. Fold the card with a valley fold at the 1” score line, mountain fold at the 3 ¼” fold line and valley fold at the 5 ½” score line. Attach the printed piece of paper on the section between the 1” score line and the 3 ¼” score line. Fold the card in an accordion style with the 1” piece on the top of the card. Attach the ¾” x 4” piece of cardstock to this piece. Punch holes in the folded side of the card going through all layers with the Crop a Dile. Add the eyelets to secure that section of the card closed. Run the bone folder down the folded section of the card at the end of the 1” piece of cardstock. This will help that part of the card open if you wish for it to do that. Stamp “Happy Birthday” onto the 3 ¾” x 4” piece of cardstock on the folded strip. Stamp the golf clubs onto the 2 ¼” x 2 ¼” piece of ivory cardstock. Layer onto the 2 ½” x 2 ½” piece of cardstock. Attach to the printed paper part of the card. Stamp golf ball in the lower right hand corner of the card. Enjoy!!!
